Things to Do in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta truly offers something for everyone. There are dozens of activities to choose from or you can do nothing at all but enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery and tropical climate. It is heaven for anyone who enjoys a variety of beach activities, from whale watching to parasailing. If you are feeling really brave, you can bungee jump over the Pacific or try your hand at windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing or deep sea fishing. The options are endless—just like the miles and miles of pristine coastline.

Looking for activities away from the beach? Cultural events and activities abound. Museums, theaters and art galleries welcome you with warm Mexican charm. You can bike the resort on a Harley or hike through the jungle to a remote waterfall. Mountain biking down scenic roads is a thrill. Horseback Riding

Casual riders can rent horses along the beach and take in the beautiful scenery or catch a gorgeous sunset. For the more serious rider, be sure to enjoy an extended jungle tour. Begin the ride riverside and enjoy the beautiful subtropical vegetation and majestic views of Puerto Vallarta. Bring your swimsuit and take a dip in the crystal waters of the river.


Golfing

Puerto Vallarta is recognized as one of the premier golf destinations in Mexico, and one of the top golf resorts in North America. There is a number of world class golf courses scattered throughout the area, so you can practice your swing while enjoying sweeping views of the Pacific coastline.


Beaches

This is where Playa de Oro and the Marina district are. The Playa de Oro is a wide, sandy beach with a few rocky areas interspersed.
